About

Getting teens and tweens involved in family vacation planning is the key to successful family adventures

Welcome to Travel with Teens and Tweens.  Our best family trips and vacations are the result of lots of research to identify options that everyone will enjoy and letting our teen and tween have a big say in what we do on the trip.   The goal of this blog is to share what we learn through our research and travel in order to provide inspiration, reviews and resources for families planning to travel with teens and tweens.

Our cast includes, our publisher and head travel researcher Mary T and her three wonderful traveling companions:

  • Camera Guy- who takes the most wonderful travel pictures, and is the best when it comes to getting tired teens, tweens and wives to say cheese.  You’ll see his great pics throughout this site
  • #1  Son - 18 years old going on 25.  Still young enough to be forced to participate in family trips but old enough to be thinking about college visits and traveling on his own
  • Hockey Princess (aka the Princess) - 15 years old and a bundle of energy.  The princess loves to skate and her tournament travels add a whole extra dimension to our family travel experiences

Take the time to click through our links and you’ll find a lot of great travel information at your fingertips.
