Tripbase has recently launched the “My 7 Links” project to energize bloggers to shine a light on older articles, and encourage others to do the same. Travel with Teens and Tweens was nominated by one of our favorite travel bloggers, Jennifer Miner in her article “Old Travel Posts Seen Anew – 7 Links” posted on The Vacation Girls blog site. The rules are pretty simple, publish links to 7 of your own past blog links – one for each of the categories defined by Tripbase – then nominate 5 other bloggers to do the same. We had lots of fun looking back at our old posts and hope you do as well! Most Beautiful Post Our readers know we feature lots of great photos from all members of the family but we [...]

Our latest travel with teens and tweens blog carnival takes us around the world, under water and to a show. We had a chance to visit with several blogs we have been reading for a while and added some new ones that we met via the terrific family travel blogger list recently published by Debbie at Delicious Baby. We’ll start the carnival with a visit to LA for a one of a kind concert, then see the world with adventurous teens, tweens, parents and siblings. We hope you enjoy the ride (and the swim!). Stars Wars the Concert Comes to LA Jennifer Miner presents Star Wars in Concert at the Hollywood Bowl Photos posted at The Vacation Gals , saying, “Taking one of my tweens to Star Wars in Concert at [...]

With the holidays on the way we’ve been decking the halls, sending cards, baking cookies, making our lists and checking them twice, throwing holiday parties and planning for winter skiing at Vermont’s Burke Mountain and Smugglers’ Notch as well a summer cruise to Alaska with Royal Caribbean on the Radiance of the Seas. The teens have even more travel coming with school-sponsored trips to New York City and Washington DC, a church ski trip and a Habitat for Humanity Service trip. And of course, we are making the rounds of various seasonal hockey tournaments which gave us an opportunity to visit the Newport, RI Breakers Mansion at Christmas. As a result, its only just now, a few days before Christmas, that we are catching up on some of our [...]
