The 2012 PGA Tour is just getting started, and many avid golfers are watching on TV.  Seeing the stars on beautiful courses is also getting a lot of golf fans  inspired to organize a family vacation that includes a couple of rounds of golf  on courses that offer something different than their local club.  But, what about the rest of the family? New Year's Resolutions for 2012

As we approach New Year’s Eve its clear that many changes are coming to the Travel with Teens and Tweens household in 2012.  With #1 Son going off to college in the fall, things will never be the same — but – rather than focus on past, we’re looking ahead to 2012 with the following list of resolutions to celebrate this coming year of change! Atlantis Summer Teen Camps Feature Fish and Fashion

     The Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas is a family favorite known for its slides, pools, aquariums and over the top kids and teens camps.  Last winter, the resort opened CRUSH, an $11 million dollar teen club.  This summer, while the teens and tweens are out of school, Atlantis will be offering  a number of age-specific over-the-top “edu-tainment” fantasy camps.       For tweens and younger teens ages 10 to 14, options include the Marine Adventure Fantasy Camp that provides behind the scenes access to the resort’s Seakeeper and Marine Mammal team activities.  Campers will  learn how to prep food, feed and care for the marine life.    They will also take a guided snorkel trip and shark walk to observe and learn how to protect these natural habitats.       For girls ages 13-22, the Seventeen Magazine Fantasy [...]
