In reviewing some of the newest family cruise line options, our teens quickly picked the Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) Epic megaship as a best bet for active families that want to see the Caribbean, make a transatlantic crossing or visit the Mediterranean. At 1,080 feet in length, with room for 4,100 passengers, the Epic is a floating city that has 20 dining options and lots of entertainment choices including Blue Man Group, Second City Comedy and Legends in Concert. With the ending of the Red Sox’s baseball season and the weather turning cooler in New England, we’ve been starting to think about ski country destinations for the coming winter. With one teen that snowboards, one that skis, and mom and dad sometimes looking for less strenuous activities, we need a destination that offers lots of options.
